Blog Hoppin' Favorite Pictures

This is one I made to try and compare Kenadie's features. I still can't figure out her toes but her face is about 50/50. I PRAYED she got her daddy's teeth and so far she has.

This past Christmas I realized I didn't have ANY pictures of me smiling while I was holding Kenadie and that made me sad. I've always wanted to get my teeth fixed but the only option was to break the jaw, move the lower jaw forward and then wire it shut plus 3 years of braces. Scary! Moving my jaw forward would have totally altered my face, making it too masculine so I put it off. Finally I was ready. In January I went straight to the oral surgeon who to my surprise told me to "go to the orthodontist, they don't need to break your jaw anymore." WHAT?!?! So I made an appt that very day. Had a consult, found out my insurance paid for 1/2 of it and there I sit...next to a 10 year old getting hers on. Awkward! Totally nothing in common to talk about like at the hair or nail salon. *sigh* This is a collage of the progress. I just had the frenectomy surgery last week and now they are pulling the teeth back to correct the overbite.

Here is our 1st professional picture EVER with all of us and the 1st professional one My husband and I have ever had made in our 13 years together. Guess who smiled?

I've commented before, but I'm just amazed at how much of a change you've already seen in your teeth. What a difference! Isn't it so nice to not have to hide your smile? (I had braces all thru high school, so I do know how that feels.) Congratulations on the professional pictures! :)

I love how you compared your features to your daughter. I think my daughter has everything from daddy!
