Thrifty Finds - Garage sale style

I am parading over here, come see me
I actually think Leigh took this week off but I'm so excited about my garage sale finds I had to post. I will link this up when she comes back from Turkey day.
I found this beauty at a garage sale on my street for $5. The candles and tray were $1 each

Upon closer inspection I realized this was a goldmine - LOVE those finds. It was made by Davis Cabinet Company and is stamped with a date and the old brass plaque. Their webiste confirms only TWO lines are still in production and this is not one of them, making it worth some money. It is date stamped 3-76 (month and yr made) and there isn't a thing wrong with it except the finish, which I've already sanded down. I think she is pure ash wood.

Isn't she pretty!

Couldn't pass these up.

This was the lamp I passed up the 1st stop at the only Garage sale I went to. 2 hours later I went back HOPING PRAYING BEGGING the big guy for it to still be there IT WAS!

I don't know WHERE these people got their stuff but they had GOBS and GOBS of cool stuff and it was the coolest Garage sale I had been to in months. This was a grocery sack full of girly knobs - like 60 of them. Flowers and lady bugs. I have sooo many thoughts for these.

LOVE! I finally got a power saw.

These were $8 for the set at a sale from last week. She had some nicer stuff but thought she was selling brand new vs. used and was not coming down on her prices.

See a mirror - buy a mirror - make a chalkboard!

Frames...can't have enough

About 50 high end fabric swatches. I smell wall art!

Princess books for my princess.

Yep, you are reading it right. $22 for all of this
