Mental Illness Test

mental illness test
Amniocintesis Test. Does it cause birth defects or Mental Illness?

I was thinking about having it done when the time comes but I read somewhere it wasn’t a good idea.

Will anyone who has had this done please reach out to me? I dont understand alot about this.

An amniocentesis test carries the risks of Miscarriage, uterine infection, Cramping and vaginal bleeding, Needle injury to the fetus, and Leaking amniotic fluid. Unless you have specific reason or if there is family history of genetic disorders, I would avoid it if possible. I just watched Birth Day the other day where a woman had lost a previous baby due to chromosomal abnormalities so they elected to get the amnio. test bc there was only a 1 in 200 chance that it would cause infection and miscarriage. The baby was completely healthy but after the test, she did develop a uterine infection and started having contractions and then her water broke. She did give birth to her baby, and it lived for 15 minutes. ( I think she was about 18-20 weeks) I wouldn’t get the test, but that is a personal choice. Best Wishes in whatever you choose :)

It’s always a small surprise to revisit this movie and realize what a subtly dark performance James Stewart gives as an alcoholic who claims he keeps company with a six-foot-tall, invisible rabbit. As Elwood P. Dowd, the actor emits a faint whiff of decay and spirits, yet Stewart also embraces Dowd’s romanticism and grace with splendid ease. Based on a hit play and directed by Henry Koster, the fi…
